啥是contact enhancer，Nekken到底咋样？

最近一个老外和我交流时发来一段如下见解，我不太明白contact enhancer有啥用处，有知道的吗?请前辈们赐教。
A good contact enhancer is very importantto getting good smooth electrical signal.  Especially on interconnects,where the signal is delicate and small signal degradation gets amplified. Without a contact enhancer, surfaces mate only about 5-10% of the areathey appear to be touching, due to peaks and valleys in the finish.  Itcreates small noise micro-arcing, which degrades the sound.  


Also, a contact enhancer will lubricate thesurface, so parts wear less when installed and removed repeatedly.


CAIG ProGold is a fine old standby. There are others on the market like Kontak, which a lot of people like. Nekken is one of the best, with diamond and carbon micro-particalssuspended in conductive shark oil.  


There are also a few with fine silverparticals - they can actually sound the best, but are real messy to clean upbecause they harden to sort of a soft clay-like material that is hard toremove.  Those should be cleaned off and reapplied any time a connectionis separated.  I wouldn't use it with XLRs or tube pins for that reason.
