The movie playback firmware for the H300 series has been upgraded to version 1.20. The supported video is still lacking, but we will continue to improve on parts that are possible. We are sorry for the delay in the firmwares for the iMP, iFP, H series, we will do our best to update them as soon as possible. We are aware of how long our customers have been waiting for the promised functions and we are sorry for the delay. We will continue to strive for your satisfaction.

VIDEO: AVI, Codec: XviD MPEG4 (Xvid 1.0.2 codec is recommended)
resolution: 220x176 only
maximum 10fps
bitrate: maximum 500kbps (below 450 kbps is recommended
AUDIO: Codec: MP3
bitrate: 128 kbps, 44.1KHz
- option to download "sample movie"
- the SRS function does not work during movie playback
- FF/REW, A<-->B function is not supported. Play, stop, pause, study mode is supported.
- The H300 movie codec was developed with the XviD 1.0.2 codec as the basis so any codec
below that version could result in problems with movie playback. (such as not syncing with sound etc)
- The TEXT VIEW does not work when movie is playing
- Movies longer than 1 hour and 40 mnutes will not play (we recommend you cut movies this long into segments)
- Subtitle files are not supported.
- There will be no converter program supplied. please use movie converting programs such as VirtualDub.
- Movie playback (XviD(v.1.0.2), 10fps, 450 kbps, MP3 44.1KHz, 128 kbps) will have maximum battery life of around 4 hours.
