Vincent released latest d1-core yesterday as the new entry level DAC  .

Same R2R :
it is using the same Vishay Foil resistor for the R2R modules.  but due to cost consideration,  there is some different between MAIN line and the core one.  
  
d1-core vs d1-single MK II
-Main diff:  instead of using class A discrete transistor ,  it is using OpAmp for output stage. and
-for the output stage,  it is not using Vishay Foil resistor
-different clock in USB input
-Not using Lundal for SPDIF transformer
-less RF Filtering .  
-simplified regulator circuit
-No headphone output
-no massive copper plate for the chassis

by the way,  
d1-single MKII was released  last month,   and it is in our showroom for audition !  it is using the latest d1-six output circuit with some fine tuning.
